England Flashback

I was looking at our England pictures today and just had to post some. Mike and I went to England in May of '06. We went with his parents and brother and his wife. Mike and his brother both served missions in England. It was a blast! We were able to visit so many fun and exciting places.

The grounds at the Preston Temple.

The Lake District.

In front of The Holly Cottages in the Lake District which was gorgeous!

The Beatles Store which had everthing you could imagine!

The Preston Temple.

In front of William Shakespeares home.

Here were are in Oxford. It was my favorite.

This picture has quite the story... We were at Windsor Castle and Mike wanted a picture of the Queens' Guards. So he thought it would be great if I was in it too. So when the guards were marching about 50 yards away I stood in the road thinking Mike would take the picture right away. Well he didn't. He decided to take it when the guards were right on my butt, literally pushing me out of the way, and saying "make way for the Queens' Guards"! Ya we should have been on the side of the road like the rest of the tourists' taking pictures. Oh well it made for a good picture right?!

In front of the London Temple which was being redone while we were there.

Here we are in front of Big Ben.

Here we are in the "London Eye". You can see most of London from in there.

Holly, I love the pics! I'm so glad you posted them! I remember you telling me that story about the guards, that is hilarious.
