Mary

I have been thinking a lot about Mary (mother of Jesus) lately. Probably because we watched The Nativity Story (highly recommend it!) recently and also because I played her in an enrichment play for Relief Society this week. Wow, she is to say the least, Amazing.
I cannot begin to comprehend what she must have been feeling and thinking.... To see the angel and then to know she was going to be the earthly mother of The Savior. That she would get to love, hold , and nurture Him as His mother. Probably wonder if she would be able to teach him much, be good enough for Him, and when the time came.watch Him be crucified! What a SPECIAL soul to be saved for that time and to have that ultimate privilege and blessing to be the Saviors mother. I have loved teaching and portraying this great woman and mother.
Happy holidays... I hope we can all remember the true reason for the season.

I just wanted to drop you a line and say Hi! It has been forever since we've last seen each other and talked! It looks like you are enjoying life, being a wife and a cute mom! Your little one is just too cute!!! I hope you don't mind that I found your page...I was on Emily Huntsmans and couldn't help but peek....it's much more fun to find out whats going on through this than just hearing it through the greatvine!
I really enjoyed your blog about Mary. I recently had a miscarriage and have been struggling a lot with the emotional recovory....I heard a song the other day that brought me to tears and it made me realize how truly amazing Mary was and how much of a miracle it was that she gave birth to Jesus. She must have been an incredible woman.....to raise the son of God!
I believe the ladies name is Sarah Groves and the song is called "Child of Mine."
I hope you enjoy the holidays and I hope this finds you well and happy as you deserve!

The more I learn about Mary the more impressed I am. She was so amazing and humble. I'm sure she had her misgivings as we all do, but was still able to raise him to be our Savior.
Remember you are a great mom too. I can tell just by reading how much you love that baby of yours. That is the best gift we can give!

Hey, that was a great post. What an awesome responsibility and experience to think about! That is a great holiday topic to ponder. So Jess is in the nutcracker huh? What does she get to do? Is it in Rock Springs or the valley, let me know and what time too. We are going home for christmas, but you aren't! We will have to arrange something.

So true. I love hearing stories and even seeing pictures of Mary as she always amazes me more with every encounter. And you are such a good example to bring all of that to our rememberance! P.S. Do you still want to to a baby shower for Em, cuz if so we should get moving! I'll call you soon.

Holly, you little sweetheart. I found your blog through Kim and Shay--small world, eh? It's been so fun to see you and your cute family through pics. Thank you for writing of Mary; she is one special and elect lady and it is good to be reminded of her, especially during this season. Take care, Shannon
